Located on a former dairy farm in Devon and sleeping 16 guests, this converted barn has been lovingly restored with an emphasis on ecologically friendly materials such as air source heat pumps and solar panels, with a natural spring providing water to the barn. Set high on a hill, the barn enjoys breathtaking views across the Axe valley to the sea beyond. There is an outdoor hot tub and over 100 acres of fabulous countryside to be explored.
Themed activity weekends are offered such as classic car driving, game and clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, coarse and sea fishing, diving and walking. How about a murder mystery weekend or, for a truly relaxing experience, treat yourself to one (or more!) special spa treatments in the privacy of your own room. Local beauty consultants come to you and can offer massage, facials, hair and nail treatments and many more indulgent treats. An original and totally charming 17th century farm house which is in a truly magical location in peaceful unspoilt countryside that is probably one of the most beautiful places in Gloucestershire, very rare and completely secluded, a gem!
This venue is perfect for group walking holidays, an ideal base for anyone wanting to experience the Cotswolds, painting holidays and of course celebration weekends such as hen parties, family gatherings, anniversaries and birthday parties. The house is set within three acres of established traditional English gardens with a top lawn which is perfect for a marquee, to seat about 60 people, with easy access to the kitchen for the caterers. It is a wonderful venue for weddings, having a magical view over the gardens and valley below, it makes a very picturesque setting with a transparent marquee.
There is a terrific barn, which can be rented together with the house, offering a fantastic space for entertaining your house party. Having a huge artist window overlooking the farm on the first floor, with three sky windows providing amazing light. Also offering a large plasma TV, snooker table, darts board, play station and DVD libary, the barn is a relaxing, very comfortable zone for all ages.
