Accommodation…

The Green Room is a lovely bedroom at the top of the Regency stone stairwell, looking over the front of the house over the lawn into the eastern woodland. It has a tropical, light and airy feel. Look out of the window and see our magnificent beech tree.

The contemporary black and white bedroom is a favourite of the house. Light pours in from the double aspect windows; you can look over the healing spiral and beyond, where the view goes on for miles. The large room with its black, white and silver decor is fresh, clean and relaxing. You can also enjoy original Eskimo paintings by famous Inuit artists. As you leave the room, you will see the stunning Regency window with the swaying bamboo beyond.

The Gold bedroom has a simple, meditative feel. Minimalist, with its double brass bed. Enjoy the small writing desk, with its selection of meditative books. There is a richness throughout with added touches of gold from lamps, bedspread and picture frames. The three tranquil, soft blue watercolours above the bed were painted in the Greek Islands.

The Pink bedroom is a little more traditional than the other rooms, with its warm pink toile fabric with a French provincial flavour; this spacious room feels warm and friendly.

The Master Bedroom, added in Victorian times, is a grand room with bay window overlooking the parkland, a king-size double poster bed and collection of Russian paintings. Relax on the settee and soft lounge chairs.

The Garden Room, tucked away in the original part of the house, overlooking the Italian garden with its flowing water, is your own private haven. It has its own stairway that is connected to the two attic rooms.

The two farmhouse attic Twin Rooms on the second floor, with exposed oak beams in the ceiling, are an escape from everyday life. There are twin brass beds in each room.

The double aspect Dining Room looks over the borders and lawns surrounding the house. It seats 16 comfortably at one large table.

Also overlooking the lawns, the warm and inviting Drawing Room offers a warm fire, cosy sofas and armchairs and is suggestive of long evenings talking with friends.

The Library and Music Rooms are welcoming rooms which invite you to chat, watch movies or listen to great music from our collection.

The Gardens of Wellbeing have been developed over 17 years, and you are free to wander at leisure through the 28 acres of gardens and parkland. They have been designed to provide a place for peaceful contemplation and are featured in Tony Russell’s book, “The Cotswold’s Finest Gardens”. A stroll through the gardens takes you through woodlands and open parkland as well as Eastern-inspired settings in the Chinese scholar garden and Japanese tea garden. There are delightful features at every turn including the Celtic wishing tree, the healing spiral, the large labyrinth and the walled herb garden.

For group sizes over 16 and up to 26, there is additonal accommodation:
