We are delighted to offer this luxury event venue in the heart of Wiltshire, an 18th Century barn that has a modern and luxurious extension, it is located half way between Bristol and Newbury, and Swindon and Salisbury. This exclusive venue is based in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers a unique and unforgettable experience whatever the occasion.
Surrounded by uninterrupted views of the beautiful Wiltshire Countryside, the historic old barn, with its high vaulted ceiling and exposed oak beams can cater for up to 100 guests. The new part of the Barn can hold up to 250 guests making it the ideal venue for both large receptions and more intimate occasions.

Weddings at The Barn…
Celebrate your wedding, civil ceremony or civil partnership in this beautiful barn, we can promise an intimate relaxed atmosphere for your service, ceremony and reception, allowing you to enjoy the most memorable of occasions.
The Old Barn can cater for up to 100 guests. The New Barn can hold 180 guests seated, or 250 guests buffet-reception style and offers a warm, contemporary, setting for your celebration. The Barn’s frontage has double height ceiling glazing and affords extensive views across the stunning Wiltshire countryside.
If you would like a church wedding, the nearby village church is available for religious ceremonies. The church is situated in a delightful rural setting, and has the capacity to seat 80 guests and receptions for church weddings can be held at the Barn.
The Barn is also licensed for ceremonies to be held in the Old Barn and can also cater for ceremonies in the gardens, with a gazebo on site and the space for a marquee should this be required.
Set within beautiful scenic grounds which include an extensive south facing patio, gardens, and a wildflower meadow. Footpaths surround the gardens, making them the perfect setting for photographs; capturing special moments from your day.
The owners of the Barn work closely with you in order to meet any requirements you may have for your special day. The staff are experienced and friendly, and happy to work with you to ensure your day goes as smoothly and happily as possible.
Amongst the facilities on offer are a room exclusively for use by the bride, baby changing facilities for your guests, as well as facilities for disabled guests.
Private Parties…
The Barn is an ideal party venue for any type of event: from birthday parties to engagement parties, corporate functions to celebrations.
Small parties, of up to 50 guests, can be held in the old part of the Barn, which has its own entrance and bar area. Larger parties, of up to 180 seated or 250 reception style guests, can be held in the new part of the Barn, with its own private bar.
If the weather is fine, take advantage of the stunning patio and the surrounding countryside. BBQ’s can be arranged if required.
With great facilities and extensive grounds, this is a luxury licenced venue with friendly, experienced, staff who can help with everything from catering to entertainment to ensure that your party is a success!
Corporate Events, Parties and Functions…
The Barn is well equipped to host corporate and business events, such as: promotions, product launches, marketing events, team-building exercises, meetings, conferences, and celebrations. Ideally situated between Bristol, Bath and Newbury, Swindon and Salisbury. It is regularly used as an event venue by local, national, and international companies, able to host from 20 to 150 delegates; full day and half-day rates are available.
The team is experienced at running events, and companies choose the Barn for both internal and external events. So whether you want to impress your employees or your customers, they will ensure that your event is a successful one.
The conference facilities include meeting space, projector and PA systems, and WiFi internet access. If you have specific requirements for your event then please get in touch.
The Barn has hosted events for both local and national businesses. Previous events include a Hollywood themed dinner party, the product launch for the Land Rover Discovery Sport and an NHS conference. Other events have also included a purpose-built outdoor climbing wall, a magic show, a falconry display and a treasure hunt.
Catering and Entertainment…
Through their selected catering partners the owners of the Barn are able to offer a wide choice of menus to suit all tastes and requirements. So whether you require a black-tie formal dinner, or a buffet style reception, their catering teams can accommodate your needs.
They can work with your chosen event management company or help organise entertainment for your event working with their regular suppliers who can provide everything from live music to fireworks.

Despite its rural location, the Barn is only one mile off the main A4.
The closest railway station is Chippenham. Trains depart from London Paddington approximately every half an hour, and the journey time is about one hour and fifteen minutes to Chippenham.
Trains depart from Bristol Temple Meads about every half an hour, and the journey time is half an hour.
It is approximately a twenty minute taxi journey from Chippenham station to the Barn.
The closest airport is Bristol, which serves destinations in the UK, Europe and North Africa.
Parking
There is a large gravel car park which can accommodate in excess of 100 cars.
